Dublin Airport Authority’s Charity of the Year scheme is managed by the staff, who select the charities who benefit each year through fundraising.

Over the years, DAA staff would have held various charity events such as sponsored runs, monster draws, book sales, Christmas jumper to work or a quiz night.

In October, police officers and firefighters at Dublin Airport decided to explore their hidden talents and produced a song. They formed a band called ‘The Cylinders’, and the song id called ‘Medication’, and having listened to the track already, it will certainly give everyone the much-needed boost, of rocking medication, after a tough year and a half.

The chosen charities are St. Francis Hospice, The Mater Foundation and Feed Our Homes.
