Call handlers at the national ambulance services Emergency Operations Centre in Tallaght brought bundles of joy to three Mothers this weekend as they assisted in the safe delivery of three babies who were born pre-hospital.Emergency Call Handlers provided ‘over the phone’ instructions in emergency child birth procedures while ambulance crews were en route to each case in Kildare, Wicklow and Dublin.

Ambulance Paramedics and Advanced Paramedics from Naas, Wicklow, Newscatle and Tallaght were dispatched to the child birth calls.
The National Ambulance Service says all Mothers and babies in each case are said to be doing well.
