Search underway for a missing person in County Carlow

Gardaí are seeking the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of Betty Nolan, 60 years old, who went missing from her home in Rathoe, Co. Carlow yesterday afternoon, Saturday 27th February 2021 at approximately 3pm.

Betty is 5’ 2” in height with a medium build. She has blonde, short hair and wears glasses. When last seen, Betty was wearing a navy jacket, dark leggings and pink/navy runners.

Gardaí, an Irish Coast Guard helicopter, Firefighters from Tullow, Carlow Civil Defence and dozens of local volunteers are involved in the search.

Gardaí and Betty’s family are concerned for her welfare. Anyone with information on Betty’s whereabouts is asked to contact Tullow Garda Station on 059 915 1222 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
