One man is in a serious condition in Cork University Hospital after a single vehicle collision in the early hours of this morning. Gardai are investigating the collision which occurred on the Douglas Road, Cork.

Cork Fire Brigade and the National Ambulance Service attended the scene. The road between Capwell Road to the South Douglas Road, to the off ramp at a local school remains closed.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigation have attended the scene and Gardai are appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact Anglesea Street Garda station on 021 4522000.
