Major fire at a Dublin school

Several units of Dublin Fire Brigade are tackling a blaze at a school in North Dublin.

The fire was reported at around 6am.

The fire took hold at Scoil Chaitriona Cailiniin in Artane. Local diversions have been put in place.

Dublin Fire Brigade said it's making 'good progress at the fire, we now have 5 pumps, a turntable ladder, emergency tender and foam unit on scene. 1st 999 call at 0610.'

Nearby schools are not affected by the incident and parents are being kept up-to-date by text messages from the school board.
