Limerick City & County Clare Fire Service attend fire incident

Fire Crews from Limerick City and County Clare dealt with an incident this afternoon when a tractor trailer of hay caught fire.

The fire occurred at the Ballybrack/Toureen junction near Cloonlara, Co. Clare at about 1pm.

LK Hay Fire

Limerick City Fire Service attended with a front-line appliance and a Water Tanker while Clare County Fire Service attended with their front line appliance from Killaloe Fire Station and the stations support vehicle.

LS Hay Fire

Garda were also in attendance. Fire crews from Limerick were first on the scene and handed the incident over to their counterparts from the Clare county fire service.
