Explosion following house fire in Waterford

Fire crews in Waterford City are at the scene of a house fire.

WLR FM says there are reports of an explosion at the time of the fire.

Waterford City Fire Service have a umber of appliances at the scene of the fire which occurred at around 8.40pm.

The fire is on the Ballytruckle Road, Waterford City.

It’s believed that one man was in the house at the time. He is currently being treated by emergency services.
