Firefighters from Cork City and Cork County Fire Services join forces next month to raise much needed finds for children in aid of Cork City Hospitals Children’s Club.Firefighters aim to climb a height equivalent to Mount Everest by climbing a fire ladder at locations throughout Cork City and County.
This unique charity event takes place from Friday 2nd September until Sunday 4th September.
Huge support has already been received by many other emergency services in Cork and also local sporting clubs and community groups.
The Cork City Hospital Children’s Club is a volunteer led organisation who throughout the year bring sick and deserving children from Cork hospitals on numerous trips as well as hosting many fun and exciting events.
Two of Cork’s annual events include a trip to EuroDisney and a visit to Santa Clause at Fota House at Christmas.
For every €995.00 raised, a deserving child can be sent on a trip of a lifetime to Euro Disney.
Emergency Times lends its support to this charity event and wish all involved every success and we will have regular updates ahead of and during this marvelous event.
