The Naval Service arrived at Kennedy Quay at approximately 1pm with a fly-over from the Irish Air Corps which coincides with a Guard of Honour from waiting blue light services along the quay.

There are approximately 24 services involved in Cork's activities which have been in the planning stages for a number of weeks.

An Taoiseach Micháel Martin TD and the Minister for Defence Simon Coveney TD are also attending the services day and the continuation of the Irish Navy's 75th Anniversary celebrations in Cork.
